Summary
From the evidence provided it is apparent that the spreading of technology from region to region dramatically changed the world as it was known. This first wave of globalization began to bring together ideas on everything from art to politics and warfare. It also produced a middle merchant class and placed a renewed emphasis on economy. This change in the social structure persisted and grew into the form we have today, where the majority of a developed nation's population is middle class. The spreading of technology was without a doubt key to the advancement of the human race.
